A 25 year veteran of Deltek, Greg currently serves in the capacity of Enterprise Architect. With an expertise in Costpoint, Greg provides coaching and consulting services to clients throughout the system implementation. He facilitates instructor led classes. His specialties include the design and configuration of Costpoint, training, adherence to project timelines, functional testing, and coordination of implementation team activities. Special focus areas within Costpoint include Accounting, Projects, and System Administration in addition to integration points with other Deltek products.
Rich Hardin brings extensive experience as an expert for big data analytics applied to government and commercial businesses. He currently contributes to the Association for Analytics and Data Science Methods, Huntsville Chapter, and is a thought leader in analytics and the study of data science. Rich has been leading data analytics research and consulting for 15 years, with wide-ranging experience in fields that include scholastic, government, commercial and medical. He is currently leading several Data Science and AI implementations across various platforms. Rich is working on his doctorate in Data Analytics and serving as the BI architect and Data Scientist for VSE Corp, a diverse government contractor based in Alexandria Virginia. Before joining VSE, he served as the Senior Principal BI Consultant for Deltek Inc. serving a variety of federal contractors at home and abroad. Before that, he worked with several local companies in the Huntsville area where he attended university.
Tom is a Senior Principal Integration Consultant with Deltek. Knowledgeable about Costpoint technologies including Extensibility, Web Services, Content Management, and well versed in Deltek’s best practices, Tom is the lead integration consultant for the Services group and works with many of Deltek’s largest and smaller customers. As a former IT Director for a government contractor, he is able to explain technologies in an understandable manner and develop effective integration strategies and architecture for organizations.
Damon Shratter is currently a Deltek University Sr. Curriculum Manager for Ajera and Vision and a certified Sr. Instructor for Ajera with extensive experience and skills in Training and Development. Damon works in Deltek’s Portland, OR office. He has been responsible for Customer Support, new hire training and client training on various Ajera topics. Prior to coming to Deltek, Damon has been a teacher at the Secondary and Post-Secondary levels, a trainer at various corporations as well as an instructor in the Army as an adjunct faculty member for the National Cryptologic School. Damon has a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry, a B.S. in Secondary Education and an M.A. in Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Marlaina Mandeville has been with Deltek since 2007. She is currently a Principal Instructor with Deltek University and was previously a Principal Customer Care Analyst with the Deltek Customer Care team. She holds a degree in Computer Information Systems and has a combined total of 22 years’ experience in the Accounting Software industry. Her experience includes On-site implementation, Quality Control, Documentation, Training and Customer Care/Support. Her areas of expertise include Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint Time, Expense, Payroll and Billing. Prior to Deltek, Marlaina worked for a couple of smaller software companies, an Internet Marketing Company and a Pharmaceutical manufacturer. Outside of work she enjoys travelling abroad, camping, hiking and bicycling with her husband and son.
JC Barnhart has been part of the Deltek University team as a subject matter expert and instructor on Vantagepoint for the last 3 years. Prior to his work in DU he was on the Maconomy support team for 2 years and the Vision support team for over 9 years. Before joining the Vision team he worked on the Sema4 application support team. In 2003 he graduated from the University of Oregon business school with a degree in Accounting and since then he has been working at Deltek.
Before joining Deltek in 2013, Bob was the Vision System Manager for a large international A/E firm where he configured, implemented, documented, and supported Vision for around 1,000 users in 30 offices worldwide. He was also in charge of the Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives for the same company. Bob has experience as an Accountant and since joining Deltek, Bob has worked with several clients with a focus on Accounting and Vision Performance Management (VPM). His areas of expertise include Vision product line (Accounting & Finance, Resource Planning, VPM, and CRM) and Kona. Bob is adept at facilitating sessions defining user requirements during design and configuration, delivering end-user training, and preparing overall organization for system deployment, as well as presenting briefings to Executives.

Ken has worked with the A&E Industry for 12 Years, first in helping firms achieve tax dedication for designing energy efficient buildings, as an Ajera consultant, and as a Vantagepoint consultant. Ken has worked closely with industry project managers to review work plans and develop strategies for collecting the necessary data to manage energy efficiency projects. He has been a LEED AP and he helped develop his hometown’s energy efficiency strategy. Ken is also a published author within the A&E industry and has spoken to several chapters of the AIA and ASHRAE. Ken has worked with hundreds of firms both before and during his time with Ajera spending most of his time working with project managers, accountants, and principals. Ken has worked for the past 7 years helping to implement Deltek enterprise ERP’s for hundreds of firms to their specifications.
Andrew Sam is a Principal Consultant at Deltek. During the past 13 years, Andrew has guided numerous clients through the implementation of two Deltek systems. During the implementation process, Andrew focuses on providing best practices to leverage features of the software to streamline business processes. Andrew has been part of the Vantagepoint team for the past 2 years. Prior to that, Andrew was part of the Ajera team for 11 years. Andrew has presented in several workshops and conferences focusing on Accounting and Project Management best practices with Deltek systems. Andrew is a 2006 alumni of Oregon State University.

This session is designed for Project Managers to show how the information entered into the Project Command Center impacts your ability to bill Clients effectively, and have true insights into your projects. The use of Tasks, Consultants and Commitment numbers will be discussed as part of the Resource Budgeting process, which may not be applicable to users of Ajera Core.
