Migration can begin immediately. The latest version of the Web Client includes numerous usability enhancements and extended coverage of core Maconomy functionality. Several large customers are already using the Web Client for the majority of their users. 

With the introduction of Maconomy 3.0, the Workspace Client will no longer be available. Organizations upgrading to version 3.0 will no longer have access to the Workspace Client, while earlier versions will retain limited support for the desktop client for a transitional period.

All Java extensions are available by default in the Web Client. However, layout customizations need to be redesigned and implemented for the Web Client’s updated screen format and design system. A like-for-like migration is not recommended; consult with your CSM for guidance.
