Glossary
Activities | The type of work or expense charged to a project. You can specify cost and billing rate by activity. Ajera separates all costing and revenue activities into these three categories:
|
Client Invoice | An itemized bill for activity related to a specific project at your company. It contains specific transactions that together make up the final amount on the invoice. With Ajera, the client invoicing process begins when you set up a project. Ajera automatically creates a draft invoice for that project. As you enter billable time and expense transactions for the project into Ajera, they are automatically attached to the draft invoice. |
Sales Tax | A tax that businesses impose on customers when they purchase goods and services. The sales tax is then remitted to the state or local government within a prescribed period. When invoicing a client, the sales tax is typically added to the total amount of the invoice. The amount of sales tax depends on the state, city, and country your business has a physical presence in, and the tax is not recorded as a part of the revenue. |
