Implementation Starts with "Best Practice"

The core idea of Maconomy Power Launch is to deliver a fully pre-configured solution to your company, where we have thought about how you are going to work based on 30 years of experience and hundreds of implementations.

Think of Power Launch as a starting point for your implementation. It's not a rigid solution that locks everything down and allows no flexibility. You can decide how much of the starting point you want to use. If you use it all, we will just need your data to set up the solution and we are ready to train you. In most cases, this best practice meets up to 90% of your requirements. You can then configure or extend the last 10% to meet your full satisfaction.

They are responsible for the success of a project and provide necessary guidance and resources to the project team and manager.

Solution Decisions

Functional Owner Finance

A super user for the finance functions that will work with the project manager and Deltek consultant to apply and support the Power Launch setup.

A role which will work with the Deltek consultant to understand testing needs and setup a testing plan.

Data Migration

Data Owners/Cleaners (Data Conversion Responsible)

To work with the Deltek consultant to convert existing data into the appropriate format for Power Launch.

  • Learn how to use the data conversion tools to host and manage this process
  • Prepare and import clean data in the format requested by Deltek
  • Work with testing resource to upload converted data into test system for first build
  • Deliver master and transactional data into fully cleansed format for go live solution

Technical Ownership

Technical Owner Integrations

A technical role to work with the Deltek integrations consultant for any additional integrations/extensions that need to be configured.

  • Review technical integrations needed in addition to the standard Power Launch solution
  • Work with Customer Core Team to ensure the relevant technical solutions comply with the requirements
